Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE founder of the Stemettes, will be speaking at our Rocking ur Teens Conference 8th March, 2017
Anne-Marie’s unique set of achievements include passing two GCSEs aged ten (Mathematics & ICT), being the youngest girl ever to pass A-level computing (aged 11) and being one of the youngest to be awarded a Masters’ degree in Mathematics & Computer Science by Oxford University, aged 20. She is CEO, ‘Head Stemette’ & co-founder of Stemettes – an award-winning social enterprise inspiring more than 14,000 girls & young women into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. As part of this work she has also co-founded Outbox Incubator: the world’s first tech incubator for teenage girls. Aged 27, Anne-Marie was awarded an MBE in the 2017 New Years Honours for services to young women and STEM sectors.
