Q. Tell us a little bit about you?
A. Hi I’m Leah, I’m 13 years old. I have 3 brothers and I enjoy listening to music and acting.
Q. Who are your role models?
A. My roles models are
- Michelle Obama, because she’s really cool and she supported Barack throughout his campaign and she likes sweet potatoes.
- Malorie Blackman, she writes really good stories, and she was the first black female Childrens Laureate
- Zoella, because she speaks out on what matters, like bullying.
Q. If you were stuck on a desert island what could you not do without?
A. My phone and wifi, I need to stay in touch with my friends and family . I’d miss Instagram and You Tube too much.
Q. What’s your favourite song at the moment?
A. Cool Kids by Echosmith
Q. What’s the best thing about being a teenager?
A. You get more freedom and responsibility than when you were younger, people see you in a different light and think that you’re responsible.

Q. What would you like to be when you grow up?
A. I’d like to be a politician or a neurosurgeon, because I like making decisions.
Q. How do you make an impact in the world now as a teen?
A. I am a member of Youth Parliament and I got to speak at the House of Commons Youth Debate recently on whether young people should be able to Vote at 16. I am in favour of it.
Q. What does #rockingurteens mean to you?
A. Rocking Ur Teens means to me to be strong and hold your head up high and to be inspirational to the younger generation. When I am rocking my teens I am having fun and chilling with my friends.
