Najwa Jawahar is an award-winning Chartered structural engineer, who believes nothing is impossible. No muddy boots. No cultural or religious barriers. Despite being a woman in the male-dominated field, she initiated a graduate group and extended it to 300+ young engineers and apprentices globally in 2 years. In 2014, she was selected by the Managing Director of the company to be part of the WSP’s Taskforce Team and delivered two business initiatives including the new graduate development framework. In 2016, she was named as the top 50 rising stars in the Science and Engineering by WeAreCity and top 50 most inspirational women on Twitter by Women Engineering Society. In 2017, she won the Best Young Woman Engineer at the European Women in Construction and Engineering.
