Who are Rocking Ur Teens?


“Rocking Ur Teens is a Community Interest Company whose vision is to connect teens for a positive and vibrant future.”

Mission

• Create a global community of teens that make change happen.
• Catalyse a community of teens who collaboratively create personal and social change.
• Equip teens to enjoy their teenage years, while also using them to catapult them to future career success.

How

We do this through Teen Conferences, starting in the UK and expanding Globally within 5 years. The conferences focus on: Self, Collaboration, Career and Making a Difference. Aimed at 13-­‐14 years olds in Year 8 & 9 of School.

Our Principles

We believe that ALL teens need support and will provide an inclusive environment for all to flourish, no matter their background, ethnicity, sexual orientation, race, or gender.
We recognise that we are part of a global community and as such have a global impact.
We will assist connection between corporates and teens enhancing youth opportunities and the talent pool for corporates in the future

Conferences for 2016 will take place on 8th March (Teen Girls ) and 17th November (Teen Boys) and will be hosted by RBS  and Thomson Reuters respectively at their corporate offices.

Conferences for 2016 will take place on 8th March (Teen Girls ) and 17th November (Teen Boys) and will be hosted by RBS and Thomson Reuters respectively at their corporate offices.

• An opportunity to visit RBS or Thomson Reuters Corporate Offices.

• An opportunity to bring the PSHE curriculum to life through inspiring workshops and real life experiences of our speakers.

• Increase aspirations and understand what opportunities could potentially be available to them in non-typical industries and corporate organization.

• Meet teens from different walks of life.

• Be challenged to make a difference in their community and realise their personal power.

• To have a positive day reflecting on what’s good about being you and how to make it work for you.

These events have been sponsored by RBS and Thomson Reuters and are highly subsidized. The cost to attend the event is just £20 per student or teacher, which includes a light lunch.

In-Kind sponsorships consist of a donation of a certain product or service instead of direct financial contribution. There are numerous possibilities. The “market value” of the contribution must meet or exceed the specified amount listed in the sponsorship levels described above in order to qualify for sponsorship status. There can also be a combination of monetary and In-Kind contributions. In-Kind sponsor benefits will be based on the total market value of the donation and matched with benefits at the sponsorship levels described.
